Regent Nursery SchoolVisit www.regentnursery.com Here at Regent Nursery children are valued, respected and treated as individuals. Our aim is to provide a safe, happy, caring and stimulating environment for children to play and develop skills and abilities in all the six areas of learning, which are:
We aim to develop the children holistically and support each one at his/her individual pace and help them to realise their potential, through key persons liasing closely with parents, outside agencies and community. There is a balance of child-initiated and adult-led experiences within the Early Years Foundation Stage activities. Planned activities are flexible and respond to each child’s individual learning styles, interests, needs and abilities. We send out newsletters to update parents on issues related to the nursery. Information for parents is displayed on the parents’ notice board. Parents can address issues face to face, by telephone, e-mail, and letters or use the ‘suggestion box’ that is situated in the front lobby. Children are encouraged and supported in developing their self-esteem and confidence and independence as they go through the learning journey here thus making the transition from nursery to school as smooth as possible. |
